Background
Paul Draper is an English writer, film and audiobook producer and voiceover artist. Originally from East Anglia, he has been living in Bournemouth for the past 30 years. His dark fantasy short story collection BLACK GATE TALES has twice topped the genre bestselling lists on Amazon. He also publishes other writers and offers script doctor services. He has written screenplays for a number of short films across a wide range of genres, winning local film contests, including Best Picture, Audience Choice and Best Script awards, and filming comedy content at the BBC. He is currently working on a number of large-scale projects for Film, TV and Print media.
Screenwriting
Paul is available to write bespoke screenplays to your specification. He has a friendly, open and methodical approach to gathering requirements, agreeing scope, research and version production. Paul will work with you to redraft to pre-agreed iterations to ensure that you as a client are nothing less than delighted with the end product. Copy Writing and Prose
Paul is an accomplished prose and short story / flash fiction writer. He has appeared in a number of anthologies. Whilst his natural wheelhouse is dark fiction and comedy, he is comfortable across a wide range of genres, including historical fiction, drama, romance., satire and suspense. Project Management
Paul's other hat is as an experienced project manager and producer, and has nearly twenty years experience in running projects, both technical and non-technical. Comfortable with traditional waterfall and agile project methodology, and has acted as programme manager for large six-figure projects. Voiceover
Paul also offers voiceover recording in his services, and is Bodalgo certified - Europe's leading voice agency.
He has worked with a number of high-value clients recording voiceover for training and other purposes. He is comfortable working with an engineer in a studio, or has a home studio through which he can provide high-quality recordings. He will work with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the recordings.
